Front Range Mobile CPR offers the following courses for everything from basic First Aid, CPR, and AED operation to safety classes for your pets.
BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Provider CPR
This is an American Heart Association-approved class designed for the healthcare professional, such as EMTs, RNs, CNAs, and LPNs. If you are working in a hospital setting, are an EMT, or are in nursing school, this is the class for you. 

The course covers basic adult, child, and infant CPR with one and two person rescues. It includes airway management, bag valve use, and AED training. All participants who successfully complete the written exam and skills demonstration receive an American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider course completion card that is valid for 2 years. 
OSHA-Compliant Basic First Aid / CPR / AED
Certificates available through multiple agencies (AHA, ASHI, ProTrainings). This class is for everyone not working in the medical field, such as daycare providers, personal trainers, coaches, school teachers and coaches, construction trades, energy & extraction, general industry, etc. The skills learned in this class include: opening the airway, rescue breathing, choking for the conscious and unconscious victim, and CPR. This course teaches the importance of proper patient assessment as well as bleeding control, immobilization of fractures, strains, and sprains, burn care, asthma, diabetics, seizures, anaphylactic shock, and much more.
The Basic First Aid / CPR / AED class is OSHA-Compliant and approved by the Colorado Department of Human Services. This class fulfills all requirements for those certified as foster parents, those working in the construction industry as well as those employed in group homes and child or day care facilities, and elder care facility employees.

Bloodborne Pathogens for the Workplace

Bloodborne Pathogens Safety Training is an OSHA mandated training program for anyone who may be reasonably anticipated to face contact with blood and other potentially infectious materials as the result of performing their job duties. This course includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. This certification course assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030). 

Certification: ProTrainings BBP Certification, valid for one year -- issued electronically after the class.

CDHS standard precautions

The purpose of this course is to equip daycare providers with the information necessary to recognize potential sites for disease transmission, as well as the skills necessary to prevent it. OSHA guidelines for Universal Precautions are discussed.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:
  • Understand Universal Precautions and how they help protect people from blood-borne pathogens
  • Be able to identify situations in which there is the potential for disease transmission
  • Know specific measures that can be taken to prevent disease transmission
  • Be able to name the major blood-borne pathogens that pose a threat to staff and children
  • Understand the importance of taking universal precautions

Pro Pet Hero dog and cat CPR / first aid

This course teaches first aid techniques to address the most common emergencies that can occur with small and large dogs as well as cats. It prepares you to handle emergencies, notice abnormalities, and detect early warning signs in pets. You will also learn essential pre-vet care and life saving techniques for those times when immediate action can make all the difference. 

The course was developed by best-selling author Arden Moore, America’s Pet Health and Safety Coach, and Bobbi Conner, DVM, Associate Professor, UFL Gainesville, a specialist in small animal emergency and critical care. This class is intended for pet owners, dog walkers, pet sitters, groomers, pet trainers and anyone who works with cats or dogs.
